The Pottawattamie County Community Services Department operates the county's General Assistance program, hosts the Judicial Mental Health Advocate for Pottawattamie County and 7 other counties and is the Disability Access Point for counties on the western side of Iowa.
Navigation as well as Information and Assistance, Options Counseling, and Service Coordination for Long Term Services and Supports are available through the Community Services department for individuals who meet eligibility guidelines.
