Criminal Division
The Criminal Division prosecutes individuals who violate those laws. The Criminal Division prosecutes violations of the law ranging from traffic violations to misdemeanors to felonies. These include, but are not limited to: property crimes, such as Trespass, Theft, and Burglary; financial crimes such as Fraud, Forgery, bad checks, and Identity Theft; crimes against persons, such as Domestic Abuse, Assault, Sex Abuse, Child Endangerment, and Murder; driving offenses, such as Operating While Intoxicated and Driving While Barred. The Criminal Division also prosecutes cases involving controlled substances and is involved in Drug Court. The Criminal Division also handles violations of probation and parole.
