All boats registered in Iowa need to be renewed by April 30, 2016. Renewal notices will be sent out in early January. For your convenience, renewals by mail are strongly encouraged. Please provide the yellow postcard and check made payable to the Pottawattamie County Recorder. The amount due for each boat is on the yellow card. There is a $5.00 penalty for any renewals processed after April 30, 2016.

Effective July 1st,1999, we no longer sell hunting and fishing licenses, these licenses are available at various vendors throughout the county.
