Water Restriction Status & Info

Updated 11-1-2023

City of Avoca & Regional Water - YELLOW Warning

The city is served by Regional Water Rural Water Association. The city has reported their community has been maintaining adequate water pressure and supplies from the utility and remain under a YELLOW mandatory conservation order, which is determined by the utility. See the city website for more local information and mandatory restriction requirements.

Rural residents served by RWRWA's Avoca production facility should visit the RWRWA website for further information.

City of Oakland - Tier II Warning

Oakland is in  a Tier II Water Conservation Warning. System well levels are operating lower than their annual average due to the ongoing drought conditions. The system was restored to near normal operations and capacity after the emergency repair to a deep well pump critical to the system and implementation of mandatory water use restrictions.

Visit the city website for more local information and mandatory restriction requirements.

City of Hancock - Tier II Warning

Hancock is supplied by the Oakland Municipal Water system and as such, its water conservation plan and status mirrors that of Oakland.

Visit either of the Oakland or Hancock websites for more local information or mandatory restriction requirements.

City of Carson - Level II Warning

Carson has implemented a Level II Conservation Warning primarily due to intensifying drought and low seasonal precipitation leading to normal than lower well levels. The city has resumed operating at 100% capacity with compliance to the water restrictions.

Visit the city website for more local information and mandatory restriction requirements.

City of Macedonia - Tier II Warning

Macedonia has implemented a Level II Conservation Warning primarily due to intensifying drought and low precipitation leading to normal than lower well levels. The city reports the system is remaining stable under the current conditions but continue to encourage residents to conserve water and to be watchful for leaks at their properties. The repair of recently discovered leaks have assisted in reducing daily water usage from the system.

For more information, updates, and details contact the City Clerk's office at 712-486-2323.

City of Treynor - Tier II Warning

With the intensifying drought conditions over the past month, the city has implemented a Level II Conservation Warning in line with neighboring communities.  The latest reporting from the city indicates their system is currently stable and maintaining an adequate storage to demand ratio.

Visit the city website for more local information and mandatory restriction requirements.
