Summary

The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors is looking to appoint one (1) individual to the Board of Health.
 
The Pottawattamie County Board of Health is made up of members that have an interest in the health of our communities, either working or living in Pottawattamie County. Members are appointed by the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors. The Board of Health consists of five members with staggered appointments that serve one-to-three-year terms.

Essential Functions

This is a volunteer position. Members will be asked to attend bi-monthly meetings.

Essential Knowledge, Experience, and Ability

Members should have experience or education related to the core public health functions, essential public health services, public health, environmental health services, personal health services, population-based services, or community-based initiatives.
