How to Use Your WIC Card

Setting Up Your Card

Set up a PIN for your card through your local office, customer service (1-844-234-4948), or the ebtEDGE website.

Card Balance

• Your benefits are loaded on the card at midnight on the first day of the month
• Benefits expire at 11:59 pm on the last day of the month
  • Benefits do not roll over
• Your balance can be checked via:
  • WICShopper App
  • The bottom of your last WIC shopping receipt
  • By calling customer service (1-844-234-4948)
  • On the ebtEDGE website

While Shopping

• Bring your WIC card
• Let the cashier know you are using your WIC card before the transaction
• You can keep your WIC foods with your non-WIC foods (unless you are told otherwise)
• Pay with your WIC card first
  • Enter your PIN
• Approved WIC foods will be paid for via your WIC balance
• You can then use other payments, including SNAP,  for your non-WIC purchases
