The Pottawattamie County Recorder's Office has digitalized its index books of lots and land transfer records between 1853 and 1989. You can browse Grantee and Grantor Books by category, year, and first letter from the transaction's last name.
As you're browsing the index books, when you find the index of the record you are looking for, click the Help link in the page header to complete a form to request a digital copy of the record from the Recorder's Office.
