Passports Information

You must submit one of the following evidence of U.S. Citizenship:

• U.S. State Certified Birth Certificate
• 16 and 17 year olds must have Certified Birth Certificate and at least one parent
• Fully-valid, undamaged U.S. passport (may be expired)
• Certificate of Naturalization

Submit one of these acceptable forms of identification documents (IDs):

• Valid or expired, undamaged U.S. passport book or passport card.
• Fully Valid Driver’s License.

Fees

• Passport Book application fee : $130.00 Check or money order is required
• Passport Card application fee:  $30.00 Check or money order is required
• Expedited service costs an additional $60.00 for application fee
• Execution (Acceptance) Fee:  $35.00 cash/card/check.

Please note:  The application fee and the execution fee are paid separately

Passport photos are available for $15.00 a person. 

If you have an appointment, time is built in to take a photo if needed.

Passport processing services are now done via appointment due to the high demand. Please schedule a time and arrive with all necessary documents and forms completed.

On the second Wednesday of each month the Recorder's Office sets up shop at the Avoca Courthouse to provide greater access to the passport process to residents on the eastern side of the county.Passport services are offered from 9am-2pm each of the dates listed below. Please review the above passport requirements and bring all of the necessary documents with you.
