Back to School Immunization Clinic

This school year will be here before we know it! Are your kids ready?

Now is the time to double check their immunization record is complete and schedule any vaccination appointments that may be needed for your kids BEFORE they return back to school.

Pottawattamie County Public Health has a VFC (Vaccine for Children) program that offers routine adolescent vaccines for ages 18 and younger with Medicaid/no insurance. To schedule an appointment, contact our public health clinic at 712-242-1155

Did you know that according to Iowa state law, being current on immunizations is mandatory for all students to start school. Ensuring your child is up-to-date with their vaccinations is crucial for their health and the well-being of the entire school community.

We'll be hosting an after-hours walk-in clinic from 4:00pm-6:30pm! We will be offering:

• Routine adolescent vaccines for ages 18 and younger with Medicaid/no insurance
• Car/booster seat checks and install
•  STI testing and safe sex supplies

*Please note that there may limited availability as the clinic is walk-in

The hand-collected seed will then be used for local prairie restoration and reconstruction projects. This event includes walking over steep, rugged terrain, so dress appropriately.
